Ethylene Glycol - Non-Freezing Fluid G11 Geotherm-K

G11 Geotherm-K concentrated coolant for ventilation/heating systems – a fluid (concentrate) based on ethylene glycol using inhibitors from BASF (Germany). The coolant does not contain nitrates, phosphates, or amines, which could lead to jelly-like deposits that hinder the performance of heating and cooling equipment. Only distilled or demineralized water should be used for dilution. Dilution ratios are shown in the table below.

Inhibitor – a substance that slows down or stops a chemical reaction.

When diluted 1:1, the freezing point is -37.5°C

For heating systems, a 1:2 ratio (1 L concentrate to 2 L water) is recommended. This ratio is optimal because it facilitates fluid circulation and better protects circulating pumps. It is recommended to use well or borehole water for dilution, and to avoid municipal tap water due to its chemical content that may cause limescale buildup. When diluted 1:2, the freezing point is about -16.1 to -18°C, with a volume share of 30%. It is recommended to mix the fluids well in a separate container before introducing into the system. Do not mix directly in the system.
