WAVIN Optima is a thick-walled pipe and fitting system made of unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC), designed for indoor wastewater discharge. Pipes and fittings are available in grey (RAL 7037) or white (RAL 9003). The pipes are corrosion-resistant, unaffected by chemically polluted water, and do not accumulate deposits. The system is also resistant to hot water, but water at 95°C should not flow for more than 1–2 minutes.

The new generation pipe with a structured wall consists of three layers: outer and inner layers made of PVC and a foamed intermediate layer. The pipe meets the requirements of the European standard LST EN 1453-1, approved by the Lithuanian Department of Standardization under the Ministry of Environment. Noise tests have shown that the new WAVIN structured wall pipe ranks between traditional single-layer pipes and special low-noise pipes, making it a semi-low-noise pipe in terms of sound insulation properties.
