WAVIN Optima is a system of thick-walled pipes and fittings made of unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC) designed for sewage discharge inside buildings. Pipes and fittings are available in grey (RAL 7037) or white (RAL 9003). Pipes are corrosion resistant, unaffected by chemically contaminated water, and do not accumulate deposits. The system is also resistant to hot water, but water at 95°C should not flow for more than 1-2 minutes.

The new generation structural wall pipe consists of three layers: outer and inner layers made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and a foamed layer between them. The pipe complies with the European standard LST EN 1453-1, approved by the Lithuanian Department of Standardization under the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Lithuania. Noise reduction tests have shown that the new generation thick-walled structural wall WAVIN pipe offers noise attenuation between traditional single-layer pipes and special low-noise pipes, so it can be classified as a semi-soundproof pipe.
