WAVIN Optima is a system of thick-walled pipes and fittings made of unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC) intended for wastewater drainage inside buildings. Pipes and fittings are available in grey (RAL 7037) or white (RAL 9003). Pipes are corrosion resistant, unaffected by chemically contaminated water, and do not accumulate deposits. The system is also resistant to hot water, but water at 95 °C should not flow for longer than 1-2 minutes.

The new generation structural wall pipe has three layers: outer and inner layers made of PVC, and a foamed layer between them. The pipe complies with the European standard LST EN 1453-1, approved by the Lithuanian Standards Department under the Ministry of Environment. Acoustic tests showed that the new generation thick-walled WAVIN pipe is positioned between previous solid single-layer (monolithic) pipes and special low-noise pipes and, in terms of sound damping properties, can be classified as semi-low-noise pipes.
