WAVIN Optima - a system of thick-walled pipes and fittings made of unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC) intended for wastewater discharge inside buildings. Pipes and fittings can be gray (RAL 7037) or white (RAL 9003). Pipes are corrosion-resistant, unaffected by chemically contaminated water, and do not accumulate deposits. The system is also resistant to hot water; however, water at 95 °C should not flow through for longer than 1-2 minutes.

The new generation structural wall pipe consists of three layers: outer and inner layers made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), and a foamed layer between them. The pipe meets the European standard LST EN 1453-1, approved by the Lithuanian Standards Department under the Ministry of Environment. Noise tests have shown that the new generation thick-walled structural WAVIN pipe occupies an intermediate position between the previously used solid single-layer (monolithic) wall pipes and special low-noise pipes; therefore, regarding sound insulation properties, it can be classified as semi-low-noise pipes.
