Manufacturer: WAVIN (Germany)

WAVIN Optima is a system of thick-walled pipes and fittings made of unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC) designed for wastewater drainage inside buildings. Pipes and fittings may be grey (RAL 7037) or white (RAL 9003). Pipes are corrosion-resistant, chemically contaminated water does not damage them, and deposits do not accumulate. The system is also resistant to hot water, but water at 95°C should not flow for more than 1-2 minutes.

The new generation structured wall pipe has three layers: outer and inner made of PVC, and a foam layer in between. The pipe meets the European standard LST EN 1453-1, approved by the Lithuanian Standardization Department under the Ministry of Environment of Lithuania. Noise tests have shown that the new generation thick-walled WAVIN structured wall pipe occupies an intermediate position between previously used solid single-layer (monolithic) pipes and special low-noise pipes, so it can be classified as a semi-low-noise pipe in terms of sound insulation properties.
