WAVIN Optima is a system of thick-walled pipes and fittings made from unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC) designed for sewage discharge inside buildings. Pipes and fittings can be grey (RAL 7037) or white (RAL 9003). Pipes are corrosion resistant, not affected by chemically contaminated water, and do not accumulate deposits. The system is also resistant to hot water; however, water at 95° C should not flow for more than 1-2 minutes.

The new generation structural wall pipe consists of three layers: an outer and inner layer made of PVC, with a foamed layer between them. The pipe complies with the European standard LST EN 1453-1, approved by the Lithuanian Standardization Department under the Ministry of Environment of Lithuania. Noise testing results showed that the new generation thick-walled structural WAVIN pipe occupies an intermediate position between previously used monolithic single-layer pipes and special low-noise pipes, so in terms of sound insulation properties it can be classified as a semi-low-noise pipe.
