Plastic press fittings are made from polyphenylsulfone (PPSU), which features excellent technical properties, exceptional impact resistance, edge strength, and temperature fluctuation resistance. Its strength can be compared to metal. Like all plastics, PPSU is completely corrosion resistant. The metal sleeve required for pressing is made of stainless steel. Each fitting sleeve has two "windows" for visual connection inspection.
